MPS provides a full range of irrigation services, from design and installation to modification and maintenance. One of our most important value added propositions is our “Irrigation Maintenance Program”. As landscape specialists, we can tailor an irrigation system to provide the optimum moisture without waste, including system adjustments to account for seasonal weather changes. In conjunction with our weekly grounds maintenance services, we can constantly monitor the effectiveness of the system and instantly identify deficiencies. No “irrigation only” company can optimize the benefits of your irrigation system the way your grounds maintenance contractor can!

Seasonal Irrigation Services

MPS Property Services can offer additional services for clients with automatic irrigation systems in place to best maximize their effectiveness, and also minimize the costs of watering your turf. Throughout the year, MPS offers the following irrigation system maintenance services:

Opening and System Check

  • Late April – early May
  • Timer will be set for typical spring run conditions. Timer may or may not be activated at this time.
  • Complete system check
  • Minor repairs to be performed as necessary
  • Major repairs and upgrades will require approval by owner / property manager before work is undertaken.

Early Summer Maintenance Visit

  • Mid-June – mid-July (depending on weather)
  • Timer adjusted to summer run conditions
  • Complete system check
  • Minor repairs to be performed as necessary
  • Major repairs and upgrades will require approval by owner / property manager before work is undertaken.

Late Summer Maintenance Visit

  • Mid-August – mid-September (depending on weather)
  • Timer adjusted to fall run conditions
  • Complete system check
  • Minor repairs to be performed as necessary
  • Major repairs and upgrades will require approval by owner / property manager before work is undertaken.

Closing (System “Blow Out”)

  • Late fall (mid-October on)
  • System to be winterized and water blown out
  • Minor repairs to be performed as necessary
  • Major repairs and upgrades will require approval by owner / property manager before work is undertaken
